The government has no plan to disband Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) following the alleged involvement in the Narayanganj abduction and killing incidents.
State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan has said this while talking to the journalists at his office on Wednesday.
He said: “RAB was formed in a bid to quick action against the unlawful incidents and the force is doing their duty as per the law.”
“So, there is no reason to disband the force,” he added.
While talking on the much-talked Narayanganj abductions and killings, he said: “Law enforcing agencies have launched special investigations in this regard and the suspected criminals will be arrested soon”
