Three people have been killed on the spot when a goods-laden truck rammed into another from behind in Kalihati upazila, Tangail.
The incident took place on the Bangabandhu bridge approach road on the in Shalla area around 5:30am on Wednesday.
Bangabandhu bridge East police station Officer-in-Charge Akheruzzaman endorsed the deaths. However, identities could not be ascertained immediately.
Police were on the spot and recovering the bodies when last reported.
