"Mujibur went missing along with his driver while returning from Sunamganj to Sylhet on Sunday after attending BNP's mass hunger strike programme. We informed the law enforcers about the missing incident. His mobile phone has been switched off since Sunday afternoon,” Barrister Anwar Hossain, relative of Mujibur, said on Monday.

Mujibur was former international affairs secretary of Juba Dal, founding president of its UK unit and former vice president of its Sunamganj unit,  Anwar said.

The UK expatriate was living alone in the country since the past few months and he used to come to Sunamganj for visiting the construction site of a market, he added.
