Sheikh Mohammad Abdul Majid, the father of Sheikh Mohammad Maruf Hasan, the executive committee member of Bangladesh Football Federation and the chairman of the Dhaka Metropolis Football League Committee passed away due to cardiac arrest at CMH yesterday.
He was 85. He is survived by eight sons and two daughters. He was buired at the family graveyard at Terkhada, Khulna. BFF president Kazi Salahuddin, the senior vice president, the vice presidents, all the members of the executive committee and the officials expressed deep shock over the death of Majid and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
