Two people were abducted from the Agrabad area in Chittagong on Thursday morning.
The workers are Rabbi and Hossain.
Hossain's father, Md. Babul, filed a general diary with the Bayezid police station in this regard.
According to the GD, somebody called Hossain's mother's phone and demanded a Tk32,000 ransom.
Md. Babul said: “My son Hossain was abducted from Agrabad while he was on his to join a new workplace along with his friend Rabbi.”
OC Sairul Islam of Bayezid police said they were investigating the matter.
