Dhaka emerged as the champions in the Marcel Inter Divisional Kabaddi Championship beating Narail by 23-16 points in the final at the Kabaddi Stadium yesterday.
In the third place decider Jamalpur overpowered Panchagarh by 41-23 points. Shahnaz Parvin Maleka of Dhaka was adjudged as the best player in the tournament while Narail’s Sharmin Sultana Rima was declared as the player of the final.
Post and Telecommunications minister Abdul Latif Siddiki distributed the prizes as the chief guest. AFM Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn, the additional director of Walton, and Kabaddi Federation general secretary Nazrul Islam were also present among others.
