The leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) have brought out a procession on Dhaka University campus on Tuesday, protesting the attack on its two leaders of Rajshahi University unit.
Later, they have held a protest rally in front of the university's Aparajeyo Bangla at 12:30pm.
BCL DU unit President Mehedi Hassan and General Secretary Omar Sharif have spoken in the rally.
They demanded arrest of the Islami Chhatra Shibir members involved in the incident.
Earlier in the morning, the leg of a BCL man has been chopped off and tendons of another has been cut off by miscreants on Rajshahi University campus on Tuesday morning.
The injured were identified as Saleh M Togor, student affairs secretary of RU unit of BCL, and Masud Hasan, assistant secretary of the university unit of BCL.
