At least 10 people have been injured and some houses were vandalised and burned in a regional clash between two localities of Kishoreganj Sadar upazila.
The clash took place between villagers of Chaina and Charpara areas over charging mobile mobile phones around 9pm on Sunday, police said.
The villagers clashed armed with local weapons, Kishoreganj Sadar police Officer-in-Charge Mir Mosharraf Hossain said. “Four houses were vandalised and one burned.”
Fire fighters tamed the flames soon, he added. Police were in control of the situation when last reported around 10:15pm, according to the OC.
