The official website of the Bangladesh Cabinet Division is back three and half hours after being hacked by an Indian hackers group on Saturday.
The website has been restored to it's previous state around 8.30pm.
The hacker/hackers on the webpage identified themselves as “Black Dragon(Indian Hackers Online Squad)" and left a message.
The message read:"
--==[[ LOVE TO ALL INDIAN HACKERS OUT THERE ]]==--"
"Its a Warning to Bangladeshi Hackers, Stop Defacing Indian sites. We Dont Have a Fight with you But if you Dont stop then get ready for #OP Bangladesh."
Additional Secretary of the Cabinet division Mohammad Nazrul Islam told the Dhaka Tribune that the site was found hacked at around 6.00pm.
The authority concerned was notified about the incident immediately and it directed to take necessary step to bring the site back, he added.
“The repairing work is underway and the site will be return to normal within a short time,” added Nazrul Islam.
While visiting the site at 7pm, the website was displaying the notification “ Site is under Maintenance”. But, the message of the "Indian hackers" appeared at 7:30pm.
