Met office has dispatched some good news. Rain or thunder showers is likely to show up in five divisions including the capital, says the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
The rain or thunder showers is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. It will be accompanied by temporary squally wind.
Severe heat-wave is sweeping over the regions of Tangail, Rajshahi, Ishurdi, Khulna, Mongla, Jessore and Kushtia, said a Met bulletin.
On Friday, rain prevailed through some parts of the country. Though clouds were seen above the capital, nothing more than gusts of wind were experienced. Moderate to mild heat-wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Barisal divisions and the rest part of Dhaka; mild-heat wave is also sweeping over Khulna and Rajshahi divisions and the regions of Rangamati, Comilla, Chandpur and Feni and it may continue.
