Shakib Al Hasan became Mr Muscle Mania in the Walton 3rd Muscle Mania Bodybuilding Championship which concluded at the auditorium of the National Sports Council yesterday.
In the two-day long meet, Ranjit Chandra Sarkar became first in 60 kg event while Nazmul Islam and Saad finished second and third respectively. Anwar secured the first position in the 65 kg event while Shakib Al Hasan finished top in 70 kg event. Rafiq Ahmed, Sumon Das and Rashadul Karim became first in 75, 80 and 80+ kg events respectively.
After the pre-judging, the top bodybuilders were selected for the final round in six weight categories which included 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and 80+ Kgs. Shakib was declared Mr Muscle Mania after he emerged as the winner in the best of the bests competition where the top six bodybuilders of the six weight categories contested.
AFM Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn, the additional director of Walton, distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
