A children court has been formed in each district across the country following the Children Act 2013.
An additional session judge of the district will head the court, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs said this on Thursday.
In case of absence of the additional session judge, the district judge will take the charge as an additional responsibility.
Moreover, the ministry has formed two speedy trial tribunals for Barisal and Sylhet divisional cities, under the Law and Order Disruption (Speedy Trial) Act 2002.
