A Dhaka court on Sunday placed Barrister Fakrul Islam Chowdhury on a four-day remand to interrogate him on the leaking of a verdict of the International Crimes Tribunal.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Emdadul Hoque passed the order after Investigating Officer Md Habil Hossain produced Barrister Fakrul before the court seeking a seven-day police remand for interrogation.
Barrister Fakrul was charged under the Information Communication and Technology Act 2006 on November 21.
Earlier on November 20, Barrister Fakrul Islam, was arrested at his office in the capital’s Kakrail area, allegedly in connection with the leaking of a verdict of the International Crimes Tribunal.
