The people heading home for holidays thronged at launch terminals, bus and railway stations with a view to celebrating the Eid with their dear ones. Train compartments were full with passengers. The holidaymakers were also seen travelling on the roofs of buses, trains and launches.
The holy Eid-ul-Azha, one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslims, will be celebrated in the country on Wednesday.
