The air ambulance carrying Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inquilab Mancha and a potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8, has arrived in Singapore.

The aircraft landed at Seletar Airport at 5:50pm (Bangladesh time) on Monday. From there, Hadi is being taken directly to Singapore General Hospital, where he will receive advanced treatment at the Accident and Emergency Department.

Earlier in the day, the air ambulance departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka for Singapore shortly after 2:00pm. Hadi’s two elder brothers, Omar Faruk and Abu Bakar Siddiq, are accompanying him.

Prior to the flight, an ambulance transported Hadi from Evercare Hospital to the airport at around 12:45pm, where all necessary formalities were completed before departure. The air ambulance had arrived in Dhaka at 11:22am on Monday.

Hadi was critically injured on Friday afternoon after being shot by assailants in the Paltan area of the capital. He was initially taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later transferred to Evercare Hospital for advanced treatment. As his condition remained critical with no significant improvement, doctors decided to transfer him to Singapore. The interim government is bearing the full cost of his treatment.
