He said this while answering to the reporters’ queries on different issues, including forced disappearance, at the inauguration ceremony of a photo exhibition in Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital in the capital yesterday.
Kamal said people hide themselves centring family feud, and criminals often remain at large or flee the country to avoid
arrest. After a certain period, they return.
“We experienced such incidents after allegations of forced disappearance,” he added.
Regarding the issue of militancy, he said it was the people of the country, who would determine how far the government was successful in bringing the situation under control.
The minister said sacked army officer militant Zia and Marjan, who worked as a coordinator between the attackers and the mastermind during the Gulshan attack on July 1, were yet to be arrested.
Law enforcers were working on the matter and would be able
to arrest them soon, Kamal assured.
