Three Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have been identified from the 650 photographs released by Saudi government following Mina stampede that claimed the lives of more than 700 people.
Foreign Ministry has issued a press release on Sunday, three days after the tragic incident in Saudi Arabia.
Among the 650 photos, M Shahidul Islam from Khulna and Aminur Rahman from Savar have been identified as Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims.

Another body has been identified as of a Bangladeshi national but his identity could not be confirmed yet.
Besides, family member of a female Haji Firoza Khanam confirmed her death in the stampede though her photo was not yet among those released photos, said the press release.
The number of missing Bangladeshi pilgrims is yet to be ascertained. Saudi authorities are expected to publish photographs of rest of the victims by Monday.

However, family members of five Hajj pilgrims of Bangladesh claimed that the five were killed in the stampede.
Medical teams are working at various hospitals in Mecca and collecting information about missing hajjis.
At least 769 pilgrims were killed on September 24 in a crush at Mina, outside the Muslim holy city of Mecca, where some two million people are performing the annual Haj pilgrimage, Saudi authorities said.

At least 934 others were injured in the stampede, which took place on Street 204 of the camp city at Mina, a few kilometers east of Mecca, where pilgrims stay for several days during the climax of the Hajj.
