No Bangladeshi national, either Hajj pilgrim or worker, has so far been killed in crane collapse in Saudi Arabia that claimed lives of at least 107 people with over 238 injured on Friday.
Foreign Affairs Ministry of Bangladesh confirmed this to the state-run news agency BSS.
"The antecedents of the dead persons are yet to be available. So far, no Bangladeshi national, either Hajj pilgrim or worker, has reportedly been killed in the incident," said the release.
However, several Bangladeshis got injured and most of them were released from the hospital after primary treatment, who were mostly wounded due to stampede after the incident, the release said adding that none of them was critical.

It said Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh, Consulate General in Jeddah and Hajj Office in Makkah are constantly vigilant to immediately address any concern of Bangladeshi pilgrims and expatriate workers, who may fall victim of the tragic incident.
Besides, it said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent a message of condolence to the King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz expressing her deep sympathy to the victims and their family members.
Foreign Minister has also sent a message to his Saudi counterpart to this end.
