Show cause notices issued against food inspectors

Md Ashraful Alam, district food controller, Chittagong, said the notices were issued to Shahbudin, Shahnewaj and Surajit Dey on charge of taking bribes from OMS dealers. “The food inspectors were asked to respond to the show cause notices within two working days. Later, an investigation into the matter will be conducted, if necessary,” said the food controller.
