The deceased is Johirul Islam, 55, son of Safayet Ullah of Jholinga village.
Gobindaganj highway police station OC Abul Basar said: “A Bogra-bound bus of Nannu Enterprise collided head-on with a goods-laden truck on Rangpur-Dhaka highway around 9:30am on Wednesday, killing Johirul on the spot and injuring the others.”
He said the injured were sent to Gobindaganj Upazila Health Complex, Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital and Rangpur Medical College and Hospital.
