The deceased are: Monser Sheikh, 55 and his wife Jahanara Begum, 45.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali police Nazim Uddin said locals informed police after they had found Monser’s body hanging from a tree and Jahanara dead in their bedroom Thursday morning.
“Police have recovered the bodies. There are injury marks on Jahanara’s body,” said the OC, adding that details can be confirmed after the autopsy.
