Former acting President and Speaker of the Parliament Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar will be laid to rest at the designated parliamentary graveyard within the parliament premises.
Rashed Mizan, assistant director of the Public Relations Wing-1 of the Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat, confirmed the matter.
The first namaz-e-janaza of BNP Standing Committee member Jamir Uddin Sircar will be held in Dhanmondi, followed by a second janaza at the National Parliament complex on Sunday afternoon.
The matter was confirmed separately by the BNP Media Cell and the Parliament Secretariat.
According to the Parliament Secretariat's Public Relations Wing, the second janaza will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday at the South Plaza of the National Parliament.
