The Banani-Kakoli crossing has been reopened, allowing smoother traffic flow and easier access to nearby areas, including the airport.
The Gulshan Traffic Division confirmed the information on Saturday and shared awareness posts on their Facebook page.
The post mentioned that the Banani-Kakoli crossing in front of the Banani graveyard is now open, enabling vehicles to cross the graveyard and reach the airport through Road No. 27.
Additionally, Road No. 27 has been made one-way.
Vehicles can travel from Kamal Ataturk Road to Airport Road via Road No. 27, but entry to Banani Road No. 27 from Airport Road is not allowed.
Vehicles from Banani Roads 1, 4, 16, 18, 20, 22, 22 (Block K), 24, 26, and 28 can now reach Airport Road via Road No. 27.
Those intending to go to Kamal Ataturk Road from the above roads can use Road No. 23.
