A Dhaka court on Tuesday imposed a travel ban on former Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) chief Harunor Rashid and his wife Shireen Akter.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Ash-Shams Joglul Hossain issued the order following a petition from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), ACC public prosecutor Mahamud Hossain Jahangir told BSS.
ACC Deputy Director Muhammad Zainal Abedin had applied for a travel ban on former DB chief Harun and his wife.
