Indian Border Security Force (BSF) returned the body of a Bangladeshi youth on Wednesday night through Shibganj border.
The body was identified as Abdullah, 35, son of Nazrul Islam of Nishipara village under Panka union of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
Abdullah was shot dead by BSF on Sunday night across the Wahedpur border in Shibganj upazila in the district as he went to India to take cattle.
After autopsy, Indian police handed over the body to the police of Shibganj thana through a flag meeting at Zohorpur Tek border.
Shibganj police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Sajjad Hossain confirmed this.
