Seventy legal officers of the Attorney General's Office have resigned in the last few days.
The office found this information on Monday morning.
Of the 215 deputy and assistant attorneys general appointed there, 70 have resigned.
On Wednesday, Additional Attorney General Sheikh Mohammad Morshed and later Attorney General AM Amin Uddin resigned.
On Thursday, two more additional attorneys general, SM Munir and Barrister Mohammad Mehedi Hasan Chowdhury, resigned.
