A man was killed and several others fell ill after being exposed to toxic gas following a cylinder leakage in Adabor’s Beribadh area in Dhaka.
The deceased was Md Kabir Hossain.
Meanwhile, nine other affected individuals are receiving medical care at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost's in-charge, Md Bacchu Mia, said the police station concerned has been informed, adding that the dead body is at the DMCH morgue.
According to police, citing medical opinions, the incident may have been caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.
