The Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (Bajus) dropped gold prices for the ninth time on Saturday again.
The prices of gold have been reduced by Tk630 per bhori (11.664gm) again as the cost of pure gold falls on the local market.
The new revised prices will be effective at 4:30pm on Saturday.
According to Bajus statement, the new price of high-quality or 22-carat gold will now cost Tk1,12,931.
Before this, the price of gold was reduced three times in a row on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the last week.
Apart from this, the price of 21-gold has been set at Tk1,07,799 per bhori and 18-carat gold at Tk92,402 per bhori.
Meanwhile, the price of all types of gold has dropped, but the price of the traditional method has increased by Tk2,041 per bhori. Now, the new price stands at Tk76,842.
Besides, the price of silver has been kept unchanged.
