Bangladesh has been experiencing mild to moderate heatwaves for over a week. Although a splash of rain has intermittently drenched parts of the country, it did not reduce the heat, leaving many people suffering.
According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), this heatwave is likely to continue for the next few day.
