This year, the books of two DCAB members have been published.
Views Bangladesh Editor Rashed Mehedi’s book of poems “Facebooke Dekhi Chand” has been published by Jagatik Prakashani and Jamuna Television’s special correspondent Mahfuz Mishu’s collection of interviews, “Dhaka Talk: Diplomats and Mahfuz Mishu” has been published by Nymphia Publications.
Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) Chairman Ambassador AFM Gousal Azam Sarker was present as the chief guest while National Press Club General Secretary Shyamal Dutta was the special guest.

He said regular practice is a must for creative writing. As the journalists practice writing by profession, they have the opportunity to venture into creative writing. If creative writing does not continue, standard Bengali writing will be lost and the result will be quite disappointing, he said.
The BIISS chairman expressed the hope that such a reception will be held in the future also for DCAB members.
Press Club General Secretary Shyamal Dutta, also a founding member of DCAB, stressed on writing and studying while pursuing journalism.
He also suggested continuing this reception programme for the writers to encourage others.
