Bangladesh on Monday recorded zero Covid-19 deathwhile it reported 51 coronavirus positive cases.
"Bangladesh reported 6.53% Covid-19 positive cases as 781 samples weretested during the last 24 hours," a daily statement of the Directorate General ofHealth Services (DGHS) said.
During the period, the combined figure of coronavirus infection in Dhaka districtand the capital is 49 while zero Covid-19 death was reported in Dhaka.
The official tally showed that the virus killed a total of 29,482 people and infected20,47,348 so far.
The recovery count rose to 20,14,539 as 32 other patients were discharged fromthe dedicated hospitals during the last 24 hours, the statement added.
From the beginning of the pandemic, 98.40% Covid-19 patients recoveredamong the infected people while 1.44% died, the DGHS statistics showed.
