Nine more deaths linked to measles and suspected measles were reported across the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the latest deaths, three were confirmed as measles-related, while six involved patients showing measles-like symptoms.
During the same period, 1,105 new suspected measles cases were reported, with 87 cases later confirmed.
Since March 15, a total of 424 deaths had been reported — including 356 involving measles-like symptoms and 68 confirmed measles deaths — the DGHS said.
So far, 36,881 patients with suspected measles have been admitted to hospitals, up from 34,909 reported a day earlier.
Meanwhile, 32,877 patients have recovered and been discharged, compared with 30,862 the previous day.
