Gold prices in Bangladesh have decreased again just after three days with the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) announcing a revised price for 22-carat gold in the domestic market.

The new rate will be effective from Thursday.

As per a press release from Bajus on Wednesday, the price of high-quality 22-carat gold has dropped by Tk1,167.

Now, gold of 22-carat will cost Tk 97,044 per bhori (11.664 grams), 21-carat Tk92,612, 18-carat Tk79,432, and traditional gold Tk66,135 respectively.

MA Hannan Azad, chairman of the Bajus price fixing and price monitoring standing committee, signed the release.

According to the notification, the price of acidic gold has decreased in the local market. Considering the overall situation, Bajus has fixed the new price of gold.
