Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has raised the price of jet fuel for domestic destinations by Tk12 per litre.
With this, the price of jet fuel for domestic destinations is Tk118 per litre. BPC updated the jet fuel price on Sunday.
The latest price of the fuel was Tk106 per litre in August.
Jet fuel price is reviewed every month, based on the average price in the international market, especially the Indian (Kolkata) jet fuel market.
At the same time, the price of jet fuel for international airlines has also increased by $0.91 from $0.80 in August, according to BPC.
