Private carrier US-Bangla Airlines has decided to suspend flights on the Dhaka-Barisal route from Thursday due to long-term commercial losses from the passenger crisis.
Md Kamrul Islam, general manager (public relations) of the US-Bangla Airlines, said the decision was taken temporarily after reviewing air passenger statistics.
However, the airline has a plan to resume flights on the route in the upcoming winter season, added the airline official.
Earlier, the private airline Novoair announced a flight suspension on that route.
