A 14-year-old Bangladeshi-American, Kairan Quazi, has joined Elon Musk's SpaceX, as the youngest-ever employee of the company.
He is a software engineer, who cleared SpaceX's interview process.
Quazi expressed his enthusiasm in a LinkedIn post that was shared on Thursday.
In the post, he revealed that he would be joining the Starlink engineering team at what he described as the “coolest company on Earth.”
Quazi also highlighted that SpaceX, being one of the few companies, does not consider age as an arbitrary and outdated measure of maturity and capability.
His LinkedIn bio says he dreams of a career that tackles “career tackling challenging issues and effecting radical innovation in service of the common good”
Quazi's extraordinary journey began when he started speaking in full sentences at the age of two, reports LA Times.
By the time he reached third grade, at the age of nine, he recognized that the school curriculum was not adequately stimulating his advanced understanding.
