Land registration tax in Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) has been increased from 3% to 4% in the proposed national budget for 2023-24 fiscal year.
Besides, land registration tax in Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) areas has been increased from existing 4% to 5%.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal proposed the national budget for the 2023–24 fiscal year in the national parliament on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the existing gain tax on sale of flats has been increased.
In both, the customers have to count additional costs for buying land and flat.
