Police have recovered a coal testing machine (Bomb Calorimeter) worth Tk47 lakh, stolen from Bagerhat Rampal thermal power plant.
The machine was recovered from Demra area of Dhaka on Thursday night.
Four people were arrested in connection with the theft, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rampal police station Md Samsuddin.
The machine was stolen anytime between the evening of January 14 and the morning of January 15.
Md Aliullah, manager (security and administration) of the thermal power plant, filed a case with Rampal police station on January 16.
