The District Commissioners (DCs) have been instructed by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Md Moinuddin Abdullah to take prompt action against corruption.
The anti-corruption watchdog chief revealed the information after the second day session of the DC Conference at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Wednesday.
He also suggested to encourage people to call the hotline 106 to report various corruption cases.
The ACC chairman said: “The district administrators serve as government delegates. They can therefore gather information about any corruption in the district from a variety of sources. In order to put an end to corruption, I have asked the district administrators to act right away if they learn of any misconduct.”
