A two-day long insurance fair began in Barisal for the first time with the slogan “Insure everyone to eliminate the risk of life and property”.
On Thursday morning, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the insurance fair as the chief guest at the Bangabandhu Udyan in Barisal Nagar.
The fair will continue on Friday from 9am-9pm.
Dhaka TribuneBangladesh Insurance Association, Bangladesh Insurance Forum and insurance related institutions are cooperating with the fair organized by IDRA and Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance.
There are 81 stalls of insurance companies of the country in 110 stalls of the fair. Visitors can inquire about insurance from various stalls in the fair premises.
Dhaka TribuneOn the occasion of insurance fair, insurance customers and visitors started coming to the fair premises since morning. The fair stalls were colourfully decorated to attract the attention of the visitors.
Officials and employees of government and private life and non-life insurance companies, along with regulatory bodies, were present.
