Bangladesh Jewelers Association (Bajus) has decided to reduce the price of gold again.
Price of good quality gold is reduced by Tk1,049 from Tuesday, reports Bangla Tribune
The information was confirmed in a press release signed by MA Hannan Azad, chairman of Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee, on Monday.
As price of pure gold has decreased in the local market, Bajus fixed the new price of gold.
According to the new announcement of Bajus, from Tuesday, 22-carat gold will cost Tk81,298 will cost ,21-carat gold will cost Tk77,623 and 18-carat gold will be Tk66,484.
Besides, the price of traditional gold will cost Tk55,170.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged.
The price of 22-carat silver was fixed at Tk1,516, 21-carat silver is Tk1,435, 18-carat is Tk1,225 and traditional silver is Tk933.
