Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended a cabin crew member for her alleged unprofessional conduct with passengers.
Accused crew member, Stewart Mugni Mustafa, reportedly misbehaved with passengers on a Dhaka-bound flight from Kolkata.
Earlier on Saturday, Biman Bangladesh Airlines grounded four cabin crew members, including Mustafa, in the same incident.
They were grounded at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata based on a verbal complaint by a passenger on that flight.
Biman claimed that they will not allow the accused on further flights until the complaints against them get resolved.
Confirming the suspension of Mustafa, Tahera Khondoker, spokesperson of Biman, told Dhaka Tribune that they have yet to decide about the other three cabin crew members who are now grounded.
Biman said that a committee was formed to probe into the incident.
On Thursday, the flight left Kolkata for Dhaka at around 9pm.
According to sources, the accused cabin crew members misbehaved with the passengers on the flight when they asked for water at the Kolkata airport.
Later, the passengers complained to the concerned authorities in this regard when they arrived in Dhaka.
