National cricketer Shakib Al Hasan attended the much-hyped grand inauguration of Arav Jewellers shop in Dubai on Wednesday evening.
He reached Hind Plaza in New Gold Souk of Dubai on a Range Rover along with the shop owner, Arav Khan, around 7:30pm local time.
But he left the place hurriedly after a photo session and did not go to the dais, according to RTV.

Shakib went to Dubai on invitation of Arav Khan, whose real name is Rabiul Islam alias Apon alias Shohag alias Hridoy, a fugitive accused in a number of cases, including one filed over the murder of Special Branch Inspector Md Mamun Emran Khan in 2018.
After the murder, Rabiul fled to India and secured an Indian passport under the name of Arav Khan, and went to Dubai.
Since February, Arav Khan also posted videos of several cricket stars from England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan and UAE, who were supposedly invited to the event.
Ahead of the opening ceremony, it was learned from his Facebook that popular writer Sadat Hossain; film actor Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam and Prarthona Fardin Dighi; anchor Debashish Bishwas; and singers Israt Jahan Jui, Arfeen Akash, Mainul Ahsan Nobel, Zahed Parvej Pabel, Belal Khan, and Rubel Khandokar, among others, were likely to join the grand event.
Some of the guests, including Hero Alam, reached Dubai before the inauguration and posted photos on social media.
