Abrar Abrar Faiyaj, younger brother of Abrar Fahad, who was brutally murdered at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet), got selected to at the same university.
The admission test results of Buet’s 2021-22 undergraduate batch was published on Thursday.

Happy about the result, Abrar Faiyaj said: “I want to study here. I will still decide whether or not I’ll get admission here after talking to my family.”
However, his mother is yet to be able to make her mind about letting her son study here, as she still recalls the tragedy that happened with her elder son.
Abrar Fahad, a second-year student of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department of Buet, was brutally killed after being tortured overnight by Chhatra League leaders and activists at the university’s Sher-e-Bangla Hall in the early hours of October 7, 2019.
