Rain or thundershower with intense lightning flashes is likely to occur in some parts of the country, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin on Saturday.
Rain or thundershowers with intense lightning flashes and temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places in Dhaka and Chittagong divisions, said the bulletin issued for 24 hours commencing at 9am in the morning.
The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies elsewhere.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Khulna and minimum temperature on Saturday was 22.4 degrees Celsius in Bogra.
The highest rainfall in the 24 hours to 6am on Saturday was recorded at 73mm in Tarash.
The sun will set at 6.30pm on Saturday and rise at 5.20am on Sunday in Dhaka.
