In pictures: People return to Dhaka after Eid holidays

Thousands of people, who left the bustling city of Dhaka to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their dear ones at village homes, have started returning to the capital after enjoying their holidays. 

People were seen emerging from trains with baggage at different platforms of Kamalapur railway station in the capital on Thursday. 

Employees of government and private offices got a long vacation this year as the weekend holidays and the May Day holiday merged with the Eid holidays. But those wishing to avoid the rush of returnees from Saturday have started to return to Dhaka in advance from Thursday.
