Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Security Force (BSF) have exchanged sweets on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
The exchange of sweets happened at various points of the border in the Hili region. Important officials delivered sweets and greetings to celebrate the occasion, hoping for peace and good will between the two border forces.
BSF Battalion Commander Alokesh Sinha said: “We exchange sweets and greetings on days of religious or national importance as this strengthens the relationship between the two forces.”
BGB’s Hili incident command post (ICP) camp commander Subedar Abu Naser said: “BGB and BSF have exchange sweets on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr. This will create amity between the two forces and hopefully enable a smoother relationship on the border”
