After remaining shut for nearly five months, the national zoo will reopen its gates to visitors from Friday by maintaining hygiene rules.
The Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.

Rangpur zoo will also start welcoming visitors on the same day, according to the notification.
The government had closed the national zoo, located in Dhaka’s Mirpur area, and Rangpur zoo on April 2 in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country.
