Police searched a number of houses at the Panthapath intersection during a two-hour 'block' raid which began at 11:30pm Monday, reports Bangla Tribune.
Kolabagan police's Duty Officer Sub-Inspector Imrul Shahed said the special type of raid was conducted in the presence of senior police officers, and that nobody was detained.
The DMP has previously uncovered militant hideouts at Kalyanpur, Azimpur, Mohammadpur, Dakkhinkhan Badda and Mirpur, detaining several suspected militants and recovering a huge amount of explosives.
A number of militants have also been killed in gunfights during the raids at these hideouts.
