CMH signs MoU with BSMMU over kidney transplantation

BSMMU Registrar Professor Md Abdul Hannan and CMH Comandant Brig Gen Md Mahbubur Rahman signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations, said an ISPR press release. Among others, Vice-Chancellor of BSMMU Professor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan, DGMS of Bangladesh Armed Forecs, Major General S M Motahar Hossain also attended the programme. As per the MoU, BSMMU will assist CMH Dhaka in setting up a kidney transplant Centre at the military hospital, said the release. The end stage of kidney disease is very complex and expensive. The patient is kept alive through regular dialosis or kidney transplantation.
